Gary L. Gutjahr
A “generalist,” Gary Gutjahr oversees management advisory, audit and tax services for a variety of Parke, Guptill & Company clients. The list includes manufacturing concerns, electronics firms, equipment sales specialists and automobile dealerships. Gary also frequently advises clients on business acquisitions.
Education and Experience
Born in Hollywood, California and raised in Burbank, Gary worked in a supermarket to help pay his way through California State University, Northridge, receiving his B.S. in finance in 1967.
From 1967 until 1970, Gary served in the U.S. Navy as a Lieutenant. Returning to civilian life, he continued his education at California State University, Long Beach where he earned his M.S. in business administration with a finance emphasis.
Gary joined Parke, Guptill & Company, LLP as a Staff Assistant in 1972. He became a Partner in 1980.

Gary is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the California Society of CPAs.
Community Involvement / Personal Interests
Gary devotes as much time as possible to his family — wife Sharon, who works at a high school, children Todd, Craig and Erryn, and granddaughter, Reese. Gary and his wife reside in La Palma.
